Lupa is not a traditional law firm. We are a bespoke practice specialising exclusively in medical injuries and our goals are purpose, rather than profit-driven.

Our founder, Chrissie Wolfe, spent almost a decade in a leading law firm representing clients all over the world who had suffered unnecessarily at the hands of healthcare professionals, and observing the widespread challenges that led to repeated mistakes. It was clear that systems were flawed and legal proceedings were only part of the solution. Lupa was built with a different approach.

We know the impact that compensation has on our clients. We have seen it make the difference between having quality of life and no quality of life at all, and be the defining factor in rebuilding relationships, livelihoods and reputations that have been shattered by injury and loss.

We also know that it doesn’t turn back the clock and, without exception, our clients would prefer that the mistake had never happened, and would not happen again to others.

That’s why our mission is different. We ultimately believe that prevention of injury is better than cure and our goals centre around leveraging our knowledge, experience and platform to elevate patient safety and minimise avoidable medical harm through accountability, education and innovation.

Put simply, we’d like to put ourselves out of business.

We don’t think like a traditional law firm, so we don’t operate like one either. We take a people-first approach which puts our clients and staff at the heart of what we do and prioritises outcomes and impact over targets and turnover.
